FIRST RESPONDERS!
Safety. Pensions.

Aldermen must throughly understand the risks and rewards of every proposal and balance fiscal restraint with strategic spending. We must ensure public safety and support pension funding.

INFRASTRUCTURE!
Roads. Water. Sewer.

Increased revenue from economic growth allows for prudent spending on essentials with less impact on our property taxes. We must spend wisely, not table our duty for a future council.
ABOUT
laura.png

WIFE. MOTHER. SMALL BUSINESS OWNER.

After law school & consulting across the country, my husband & I moved to Quincy with our young family. Ralph was born & raised here and small town living had appeal. We were right to move "home" to Quincy. We now have a graduate from both QHS and QND and have grown a successful small business as well. Quincy has been a great place for us to live, work and raise our family.

As the next generation prepares to raise their families, we must give them opportunity. Quincy has the potential to grow and prosper. I believe the right leadership can make that happen.

EDUCATION. EXPERIENCE. LEADERSHIP.

I am a licensed attorney and registered investment representative. Both hold me to a fiduciary duty - a standard that is important to me, because working with client's money is a heavy responsibility.  Our 5th ward deserves the same standard in working with tax payer's money. In addition to my work at Adams & McReynolds Retirement Partners (since 2008) I have volunteered in positions that broadened my experience beyond the the focus of retirement planning. My candidacy offers fresh perspective, experience in both legal and fiancial matters, an eagerness to learn and to lead.

VOLUNTEER. ADVOCATE. SERVE.

Over the 22 years I've lived on Wilmar Drive, I have had wonderful opportunities to volunteer in our schools, the arts, and in business & healthcare communities. I've participated in advocacy & leadership groups as well. I continue to work with the Community Foundation, serve at our church - St. John's Anglican where our kids are 5th generation parishioners -and to advocate for people of all abilities through Down Country. Each of these organizations has enriched my experience & expanded my perspective. My work and my volunteerism reflect my core belief in leadershp, advocacy and service.
